To help you stay on track with your academic career, we have provided some essential links that you may find useful on a daily basis.

Steps for Newly-Admitted Students
  1. Accept your offer of admission and begin the enrollment process. You will receive an automatic email from the University Technology Help Desk with login and instructions within 72 hours. If you already have a University of Pittsburgh computing account (i.e., current students, Pitt employees, alumni since Spring 2015), use your existing username and password to login.  If you do not receive an email or are having trouble logging in to your account, please contact the University Technology Help Desk (412-624-HELP,
  2. Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and learn more about Financial Aid and Scholarship opportunities directly from the School of Education.
  3. If you are completing a teaching certification in secondary or elementary education: Log into the Transcript Review Tool to learn of any outstanding admission requirements and/or prerequisites.
  4. If applicable, register for required prerequisite course(s) at your local college or university and earn a C or better. Check with your graduate enrollment manager to confirm necessary courses.
  5. Log in to your Student Center through My Pitt and enroll in classes.
